Before you start
You'll need a free Bilingo employer account. New here? Sign up as an employer. Job seeker and employer accounts are separate, so if you already look for work on Bilingo, create an employer account with a different email address. See Job seeker and employer accounts.
Bilingual jobs only
Every job on Bilingo must be bilingual: the duties must genuinely require working in at least two languages. When you post a job, the Language requirement field is required. Choose French and English, or choose Other language pair and type at least two languages, for example English and Mandarin. Listings that don't require two languages may be removed. See section 5.1 of our Terms of Use.
Step by step
- Click Post a job in the top navigation.
- Choose your company, or create one with its name, logo, description, and website.
- Add the job details: title, description, location, job type, category, skills, salary, and the Language requirement — the two or more languages the role needs, such as French and English.
- Choose how you want to receive applications — on Bilingo or on your own site. See Choose how you receive applications.
- Preview the listing, then choose a plan. The free Basic plan works for a first post.
- Submit. Your job goes live once it's approved, usually within minutes.
Write a listing people finish reading
- Use the job title people search for — Accounts Payable Clerk, not Finance Ninja.
- Include a salary range. Listings with pay get more clicks.
- Lead with what the person will do and why it's a good place to work, then the requirements.
- Say clearly whether the role is remote, hybrid, or on-site.
- Only list the languages the job genuinely needs. For jobs in Quebec, requiring a language other than French must meet the rules of the Charter of the French language.
- If the job has a minimum age, such as 16 or 18, state it in the listing. See Minimum working age in Canada.
