Create your account

Choose your account type

The sign-up page starts by asking what you're here for:

  • I'm looking for a job creates a job seeker account.
  • I'm hiring creates an employer account.
Your choice can't be changed later. If you both hire and look for work, create two accounts with two different email addresses.
You need to be at least 14 to create a job seeker account, and 14- and 15-year-olds need a parent's or guardian's permission. See Minimum working age in Canada. To create an employer account, you need to be at least 18.

Step by step

  1. Pick I'm looking for a job or I'm hiring.
  2. Enter your name, email address, and a password. Passwords need at least 8 characters with upper- and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol.
  3. Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then click Sign up.
  4. Open the verification email we send you and confirm your address.

If social sign-in is available, you can use it instead of a password. Pick your account type first; the social button remembers it.

What happens next

  • Job seekers go straight to their profile. Fill in the required fields to unlock the dashboard. See Complete your profile.
  • Employers land on their employer dashboard, ready to post a first job.
