What employers can see about you

When you apply on Bilingo

The employer receives:

  • your name and email address,
  • a snapshot of your profile at the moment you applied — headline, bio, target roles, locations, skills, and work details,
  • your CV (uploaded file or link),
  • your note to them and any screening answers.

Only the employer that posted the job sees your application.

Your profile and CV

Beyond your applications, what employers can see depends on your profile visibility:

  • Public — anyone can see your profile at your talent link; only logged-in employer accounts can open your uploaded CV.
  • Employers only — employer accounts can open your uploaded CV; your profile isn't public.
  • Private — nothing beyond what you send in applications.

Uploaded CVs are never public files. Other job seekers and visitors who aren't logged in can't open them.

Applying on an employer's site

When a job sends you to the employer's own site, you're applying with them directly, and their privacy policy applies to what you share there.
