Are you a strategic, client-focused professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service? Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a Corporate Client Service Representative (Account Associate) to join our Group Service team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and is committed to building strong relationships with clients and internal partners.

As an Account Associate, you’ll work closely with Account Executives and operational teams to support the sale and retention of group insurance plans. You’ll manage all aspects of the group sales process—from onboarding and renewals to proactive service and client education—ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, advisors, and consultants, resolving both basic and complex inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

  • Interpret contracts and financial agreements to address disputes and support clients with union-related concerns.

  • Collaborate with the new business installation team to set up new groups, including online enrolment and reporting tasks.

  • Lead communication planning for new and existing clients, creating custom educational materials in coordination with brand and marketing teams.

  • Deliver Group Administrator training sessions, including for Third Party Administrators, covering systems, products, invoicing, and insurance guidelines.

  • Develop and execute a proactive service strategy for your block of business, promoting Medavie’s services and technology.

  • Represent Medavie at in person and/or virtual finalist presentations, trade shows, wellness fairs, and client education sessions, tailoring presentations to audience needs.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • 1–3 years of experience in group insurance, with a solid understanding of health, dental, life, and disability plans.

  • Progress toward or completion of an insurance designation is an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, occasionally overnight.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong commitment to client service and relationship-building.

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Confident public speaker with presentation experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and WebEx.

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset.
