These Terms of Agreement (“Terms”) govern your access and use of Bilingo’s website (“the Site”). Operated by Bilingo. ( “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using Bilingo, whether as an employer or a job seeker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please take time to carefully read them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Overview

Bilingo is a listing job board that connects employers with bilingual job seekers and job seekers with bilingual roles in Canada. 

Services Provided

Employers may,

• Post job listings (1 free posting per job)
• 30 days duration per job listing 
• Choose from two optional paid plans to increase visibility 
• Receive two months free when paying annually 

Job seekers may,

• View job listings without creating an account
• Apply directly via email or an external link specified by the employer 
• Subscribe to our newsletter to receive alerts about new bilingual jobs. 
• Pay and download the bilingual resume/CV template 

Job Listings and Employer’s Responsibilities

Employers are fully responsible for:

• The accuracy, legality, and compliance of their job postings
• Providing a valid application method (email or external link)
• Maintaining a truthful company page

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any content or account that violates these Terms or applicable laws

Job Application Process

Employers specify how candidates should apply:

• Via a direct email address, or 
• Via an external application link

Bilingo does not mediate or participate in the recruitment or selection process.

Payments and Subscriptions Plans 

• Subscription fees for paid pans are billed monthly or annually 
• Annual plans include a 2-month discount (pay for 10 months)
• Payments are handled by third-party processors such as Stripe; we do not store payment information 
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date

Resume / CV Templates Sales

Users can purchase a professional bilingual CV/Resume template for $10. Digital goods are delivered instantly and are non-refundable. A download link is immediately provided after purchase.

All payments are in Canadian dollars.

All payments are processed through a third-party processor. Subscriptions and purchases are non-refundable 

Users Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or unlawful content 
• Use the Site for any form of harassment or discrimination
• Scrape, mine, or otherwise extract data from the Site without permission 
• Impersonate another person or entity

Intellectual property 

Brand, text, design element, and content (excluding user content) are the property of Bilingo and may not be copied, reused, or distributed without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Bilingo is not liable for:

• Accuracy or completeness of job listings 
• Employer hiring process or conduct 
• External website content or privacy practices 
• Any loss or damage resulting from the use of the Site 

Bilingo makes no guarantees regarding the hiring outcomes or job seeker results. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from using bilingo.ca  

Changes to these Terms 

We may update these Terms at any given time. Updates will be posted on this page with the new effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law 

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
