Radio-Canada Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador is looking for a curious and resourceful Videojournalist to join our team in St. John’s. In this role, you will research, pitch, present and produce engaging stories across our digital and television platforms. You will also be a creative thinker who brings original ideas to our news programs and content. You should be able to travel around the province and be comfortable appearing on air. You will shoot and produce your own reports in a range of formats — from traditional TV news packages to vertical video for social platforms — while collaborating closely with colleagues on our regional French-language team. You will edit your own video, contribute across digital, radio and television platforms as needed, and work independently on a flexible schedule.
Being a Videojournalist in Newfoundland and Labrador means connecting directly with French-speaking communities across the province and Atlantic Canada while sharing local stories with audiences nationwide.

Role:
Working independently or within a programming team, you will research, package and present news content across digital and television platforms. Work is governed by CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices and programming policies. Advice and guidance may be regularly available, but there is latitude for initiative and independent judgment. There may be opportunity to co-ordinate the work of others. Close co-operation with the program unit is essential.
