HR Data Management Consultant - Bilingual in French/English (Scarborough, ON, CA, M1L4S2)

Contributes to the overall success of the HR Services Operations team in Canada, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Process position, employee, and job data changes in HR systems throughout employee lifecycle events.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms.
  • Respond to inquiries pertaining to position management and employee lifecycle events, including resolving escalated issues from various stakeholders.
  • Run daily and weekly reports to assess performance against standard procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and provide recommendations to Managers, Data Management.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring appropriate controls are in place to meet obligations related to operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or currently pursuing education in a related field.
  • Relevant experience resolving customer service requests.
  • Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of organizational structures and complexities.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities with strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management.
  • Experience in conflict and issue resolution.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
