Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Client Complaints Appeal Office is looking for a dynamic candidate to play an important role and contribute to a transformational initiative.  In order to implement the changes being made to our operating model, we are seeking a candidate that can bring a problem-solving mindset, that can demonstrate leadership skills without having authority and that is interested in learning about change management. 

What will you do?

  • Support management with initiatives including support with introduction of new tools and technology, process mapping and improvement
  • Support management with regulatory changes/initiatives
  • Provide support with data/compliance verification
  • Support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals
  • Accept and successfully execute change (processes, tools) while keeping a focus on business priorities

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
  • Preferably, experience in roles involving client contact and conflict resolution or change management, project management, compliance, audit or administration.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work well without direct daily supervision
  • Information seeking

  • Initiative/Productivity/Action Orientation

Please note

In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either: 

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or 
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
