New Grad Tech Development Program – Software Development & Cloud Stream

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

69,200 - 84,600

Our New Grad Tech Development Program is a transformative and exciting opportunity for recent graduates to launch your career by working alongside our team of 3,000 Digital, Data and Tech experts, in our Cybersecurity stream.  

You’ll immerse yourself in a dynamic hands-on 24-month rotation program with access to our innovative leaders, to the latest tools and technologies, and have a chance to shape the future of insurance. Our technology products are used by more than two million Canadians to help protect the things they care about most.

Within our Tech Development Program, the Software Development and Cloud Stream aims to provide recent graduates with a comprehensive understanding of software development and cloud technologies through different rotational assignments. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity beginning in May 2027

What you’ll do here: 

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions 

• Participate in the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure and services 

• Monitor and optimize application performance in cloud environments 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure software solutions 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software and cloud environments 

• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development and cloud computing 

What you bring to the table: 

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, graduating by May 2027 or within the past year 

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills 

• Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning 

• Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology 

• Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility 

• Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework for backend development and understanding of Angular and TypeScript for frontend development 

• Understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 

• Understanding of Agile development methods 

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
