Bilingual Application Engineer, Building Automation

Job Description

As a Bilingual Application Engineer, Building Automation, here at Honeywell, you'll be at the forefront of the success of our automated building control solutions. You'll play a crucial role by providing technical expertise and support to our clients, helping them design and implement automated control systems for buildings and contribute to the successful delivery of a new multi-million dollar project and the overall growth of our business.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Lachine location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement building regulation systems including digital regulation system sequences, create regulation diagrams, and size valves and dampers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for building automation projects.
• Provide technical expertise and support to stakeholders in the field of automated building controls.
• Review project plans and specifications, collected information, sales sketches, estimates.
• Program software algorithms for building automation systems.
• Assist electricians and technicians on-site for installation and commissioning work.
• Stay updated on trends and technologies in the automated building controls industry.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or technical diploma in automation (or another relevant field)
• Fluently bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in application engineering, specifically in the design of automated building controls/HVAC
• Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD software
