About the role
This role is designed for a high-performing marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and is energized by driving measurable impact through integrated campaigns and strategic partnerships. As a Public Sector Growth & Digital Marketing Specialist, on a 1-year fixed term, you will play a key role in raising awareness and accelerating adoption of Google Cloud solutions across public sector organizations, including government and education.
You will operate across the full customer lifecycle—from initial market awareness through to long-term advocacy—owning the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive new business acquisition, deepen customer engagement, and grow user communities. Working closely with sales and cross-functional teams, you will help public sector clients navigate digital transformation while continuously optimizing marketing performance through data-driven insights.
What will your typical day look like?
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns targeting public sector audiences to drive awareness, demand generation, and pipeline growth
• Partner closely with sales, partner marketing, and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business priorities and customer needs
• Design and deliver marketing programs that guide customers through the full journey—from discovery and consideration to adoption and advocacy
• Lead the execution of public sector events, community engagement programs, and thought leadership initiatives
• Support the growth of user communities and customer engagement programs to strengthen long-term relationships
• Manage external vendors and agencies to support campaign execution, content development, and program delivery
• Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using CRM and marketing automation platforms
• Translate performance data into actionable insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI
• Contribute to go-to-market planning and help refine messaging tailored to government and education stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and engagement approaches within a growing marketing function
About the team
You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing marketing team focused on accelerating the adoption of cloud technologies across Canada’s public sector. The team works closely with global and regional stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven programs that support public sector organizations in their digital transformation journeys.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with these skills, experience and qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in marketing, campaign management, or event marketing, ideally within a technology, cloud, or B2B environment
• Proven experience executing integrated marketing campaigns and events end-to-end
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, partner marketing, and global/regional marketing stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot or equivalent)
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to track performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights
• Experience managing vendors, agencies, and marketing budgets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• English required; French is a strong asset to support clients in Montreal
It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well:
• Experience in partner marketing or alliance-driven marketing programs
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystem marketing (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience supporting demand generation strategies focused on pipeline growth and ROI measurement
• Exposure to industry/vertical marketing programs in sectors such as Financial Services, Public Sector, or Technology
Quebec Locations: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
