You will conduct research across the Canadian investment fund universe, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify candidates for inclusion.

Drawing on your experience supporting investment advisors, you will also play an important role in strengthening advisor product knowledge and supporting business activity across areas such as portfolio construction, Know Your Product obligations, and client proposal development. In addition, you will support the creation, maintenance, and periodic review of model portfolios to ensure alignment with current market conditions and best practices, helping advisors deliver diversified, risk-appropriate investment solutions for clients. This role also includes providing recommendations to senior executives regarding advisor access to various products and maintaining, updating, and enforcing the rules established by the Product Review Committee.

As one of the firm’s principal points of contact for fund companies seeking access to CIBC Wood Gundy, you will act as a strong ambassador for the organization. You will also work with all levels of staff, including the Executive Team and senior management across multiple lines of business.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,00.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.
