What you’ll be doing

The Director, Content Design, AI & Innovation will lead a team of Senior Managers and Senior Learning Consultants within Learning & Development. You will set the strategic direction for enterprise learning design and transform how the team works, equipping Senior Consultants to adopt modern, agile and collaborative ways of designing and developing learning. You will oversee the development and ongoing management of learning solutions and maintain active content in the Learning & Development library. A key focus is advancing design innovation and responsibly integrating AI, data and automation across content strategy, design, development, quality assurance and continuous improvement. You will champion human-centred, inclusive and accessible standards; create safe opportunities to test, learn and scale new approaches; and help employees apply new capabilities and become job-ready faster. This role will ensure that learning content and the end-to-end learner experience embody our client-focused purpose.

You will partner across Content Creation to manage team and project capacity, leveraging applicable planning tools (CRM/Cognata), AI-enabled workflows, data and automation to improve quality, speed and efficiency. Working with Advisory and Program Management colleagues, business partners, SMEs, technology, risk and governance partners, you will redesign processes, establish appropriate guardrails and build change readiness. You will identify high-value opportunities, convert curiosity into disciplined pilots, and move successful innovations from experimentation to sustainable enterprise adoption.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities in a hybrid arrangement, and will be required to be on-site on core days (1-2 days per week).
