About the Position
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Departmental Business Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both the CFO and the Financial Services (FIN) Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This position combines executive assistant responsibilities to the CFO with departmental coordination and business operations support, ensuring that all day-to-day operations, governance logistics, and administrative processes enable the CFO, the Organizational Effectiveness Lead, and the department to operate efficiently and effectively.
Working closely with the CFO, SLT, and extended management team, the Departmental Business Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining effective operational coordination, governance deliverables, communications, and operational routines.
The role focuses on the disciplined execution of governance processes, administrative operations, and coordination activities. It partners closely with the Organizational Effectiveness Lead, who leads strategic prioritization and departmental planning, to ensure seamless operational delivery and high-quality execution.
The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach to support the department’s strategic execution and operational needs.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
