Purpose:
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Transaction Banking business lines globally by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
 
The Digital Product Owner, Channels is responsible for the continuous and early delivery of business value through innovative payment solutions on the digital channels. They are responsible for identifying capabilities, features, and potential risks for the product’s vision by working with end users, stakeholders, the agile team and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce high quality features that will change the way the that customers interact with the Bank.
 
In collaboration with the agile team, the Digital Product Owner (Channels) will be engaged throughout the different phases of the product lifecycle and will actively evolve the product roadmap. The Product Owner, Channels will be expected to represent the voice of the customer and help to prioritize the backlog. Moreover, the incumbent will be expected to enable peers and tirelessly advocate for the vision and customer experience they’ve been entrusted with. This will require to work with a cross-functional global team, focusing on the Americas, particularly the North American Corridor (USA, Canada and Mexico) and also working with partners across the rest of the Bank’s international footprint.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and manage a multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for global information reporting, analytics features and data products for a multi-country, digital banking platform
  • Identify and validate new opportunities to leverage data as a strategic asset, including internal efficiency (analytics), new customer-facing reporting capabilities and net-new revenue streams through advanced data products
  • Shape the future of AI-powered banking by exploring, designing and championing integration of predictive and prescriptive AI/ML features, predictive analytics, prescriptive recommendations and generative AI capabilities
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Deeply understand customer workflows, challenges, and unmet needs through research, client interviews, data analysis, and experimentation.
  • Partner with clients, UX Research, Design, Engineering teams to validate opportunities and rapidly test new ideas.
  • Develop compelling product business cases supported by customer insights, market research, usage analytics and measurable outcomes.
  • Explore innovative data monetization opportunities, premium insights offerings, and advanced analytical services.
  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap, backlog, and strategic initiatives, balancing client value, business impact, risk, and technical feasibility.
  • Translate complex customer and business problems into clearly defined product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Ensure products adhere to regulatory, privacy, security, and risk management standards across multiple jurisdictions working with internal risk & control partners
  • Serve as the product leader and trusted advisor across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Build alignment across diverse teams by communicating product vision, priorities, opportunities, and trade-offs effectively.
  • Foster strong partnerships across global teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Support teams to define the commercialization and Go-to-market strategy and ensure successful launch
  • Continuously optimize the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market opportunities, and platform performance.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in Data-as-a-Service platforms or reporting, analytics and data products space
  • A proven track record of shipping reporting, dashboard, analytics products that users genuinely love.
  • Strong product discovery mindset with experience identifying customer problems, validating solutions, and translating insights into successful products.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, economics, technology or related field.
  • Masters Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience working in Payments, Treasury or Cash management space
  • Experience launching AI/ML driven features like Generative AI-powered client experience, predictive analytics, intelligent recommendation & insight engines, Natural Language reporting/search, personalized Analytics dashboard
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
