The Role
We are looking for a Controlled Goods Program Coordinator to support our Security Branch. The Controlled Goods Program Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The incumbent would be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of a centralized Controlled Goods Program for NRC. This compliance-based program operates in accordance with Government of Canada regulations including training, inspection, access control, incident management, inventory management and continuous improvement in alignment with TBS, Global Affairs Canada, and NRC strategy.
The incumbent will serve as the NRC point of contact with the US State Department on ITAR matters and interact with Global Affairs Canada, PSPC, TBS, Department of National Defence and other governmental departments as required.
The incumbent would perform proactive research and analysis to deliver ongoing advice and subject matter expert support to NRC staff and managers on application and interpretation of CG /International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) regulations.

A thorough security clearance process will be applied.

CompensationFrom $95,264 to $106,676 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
