Make an impact with our growing Consulting Resource Management team as a Sr. Coordinator.  In this internal role you will work closely with the Resource Manager, Consulting practice leaders and delivery teams to support strategies, programs and processes to optimize resource utilization and productivity, and ensure project resourcing needs are met. You’ll administer systems and information on the availability and skills of our Consulting team members nationally, providing regular analysis and reporting on KPI’s. You will also be responsible for liaising with consulting practice leads in our Ontario and Quebec regions to implement strategic resource management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resource management dashboard, skills inventory and other resource management tools.
  • Monitor and ensure the integrity of resource data in supporting applications, following up with team members and practice leaders as required.
  • Prepare regular and on-demand analysis and reports on team member forecasts and utilization for distribution to regional leaders.
  • Work with regional delivery teams to fulfill resource requests.
  • Collaborate with service line leads to identify opportunities to increase team member utilization and optimize project delivery.
  • Develop understanding of staff skillsets and aspirations to drive engagement, optimize utilization and meet client delivery needs. 
  • Identify gaps in team member skills and capacity to meet planned growth and market demands.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve resource management tools and processes.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and processes by developing communications, training materials and co-facilitating training.
  • Act as a backup to the Consulting Resource Manager as required.


Skills and Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in resource management, project coordination or related field, ideally in a professional services firm.
  • RMCP certification an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Proficiency with Power BI would be an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Co-pilot or other AI would be an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in written and verbal English and French strongly preferred
  • Strong data analysis and report development skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • A high degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and competing priorities.
  • Understanding of professional services operations and project-based work.
