Make an impact with our Proposal Management team as a Specialist. Responsibilities

  • Monitor bid search sites and disseminate information to key team members
  • Follow up with the bid recipients on bid decisions
  • Participate in Go/No-Go process to evaluate which projects to pursue
  • Help the proposal team to identify winning strategies by understanding the buyer’s needs and challenging the status quo
  • Create proposals that are customized and tailored to the decision maker
  • Coordinate the proposal development process from Go/No-Go stage to final delivery which includes: 
    • kick-off
    • strategy development
    • writing review and approval
    • tracking proposal metrics
    • liaising with contributors
    • proposal submission
  • Create proposal drafts and coordinate internal stakeholders to address project and client needs while best representing our firm’s value proposition
  • Facilitate a high level of collaboration between MNP stakeholders to produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing material in line with our Firm’s brand standards
  • Understand and apply win themes and the winning strategy to proposal submissions
  • Manage proposal schedules to ensure timelines are met
  • Collaborate with proposal team members to create and manage proposal content and resumes
  • Comply with, and use, the company database to track all proposal information required to develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Ensure proposal data is accurate and updated in real-time
  • Develop and send conflict-of-interest emails
  • Research new ideas and participate in proposal debriefings to continuously improve processes
  • Act as a training resource and brand ambassador by actively sharing proposal best practices and learnings

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • A university degree or diploma in business, communications, creative writing, journalism or another related field
  • Superior written and verbal French language skills, with English considered a strong asset
  • Project management skills with the ability to work efficiently and multitask deadlines within short timeframes
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to write and develop innovative, compelling, and persuasive proposals
  • Strong technical writing skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both formally and informally
  • Solid proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365
  • Any of the following would be considered an asset: 
    • An Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) designation
    • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
    • Prior experience with the creation, coordination, and delivery of proposals in a consulting or professional services sector
