We are seeking a forward-thinking and skilled English into French Senior Technical Translator to join our team, as we are getting ready to contribute to the delivery of the next generation of Canadian Destroyers as part of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy, being at the core of the communication efforts to support this state-of-the-art fleet. Responsibilities
Translate technical documents from English to French with accuracy and care, ensuring they are polished, accessible, and ready for seamless client use.
Providing bilingual revisions of translations produced by team members, including quality control and quality assurance on the
products we deliver to our clients.
Contributing to the constant expansion of the terminology and phraseology databases used by the technical translation team
Perform any additional related tasks, such as formatting.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or academic certification in translation from a recognized Canadian
educational institution; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also
be considered
