Your Role
ICI Radio-Canada Saskatchewan is looking for a Saskatoon-based cross-platform videojournalist assigned to cover arts and culture. The working language is French. We are looking for a skilled storyteller and shooter who can gather and present daily news stories that deeply resonate with the Franco-Saskatchewanian community. Your stories will be published on the RC Info app and broadcast across all other Radio-Canada platforms.
We are looking for a creative, resourceful, thorough and highly independent journalist who excels at breaking down complex information for the public. You must also be able to thrive under pressure, conduct your own research and technical/editorial newsgathering, and confidently package and present your material across multiple platforms.
Please note:
Job Purpose: Your goal is to build a close connection between the public broadcaster and Saskatchewan’s French-speaking communities. To do so, you will develop and present original arts and culture stories with a creative use of sound/video and diverse voices. You will also provide up-to-the-minute coverage of cultural events. You will prepare and file stories about arts news and current affairs for all ICI Saskatchewan platforms.
