This is a one-year contract.
This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with the Hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department.
As Senior Advisor, Community Engagement, you will lead the development and execution of CBC/Radio-Canada’s collaborative strategy to reach and serve newcomers and other important communities in Canada. You are a strategic thinker who also executes at the day-to-day level. The role supports the Senior Director, Business and Strategic Planning.
You’re collaborative, influential, and able to work independently while valuing collective success. You understand public service media (PSM) and its role in society. This role involves developing partnerships and ongoing reciprocal relationships with external organizations and works together with senior leaders across the corporation.
Your near-term objective will be to facilitate a meaningful engagement process involving both external stakeholders and internal CBC/Radio-Canada departments focused on newcomers to Canada. From those shared insights, you will deliver a comprehensive set of recommendations. Ultimately, you are responsible for leading the ongoing execution of a resulting plan, ensuring it aligns with the key pillars of our overall corporate strategy and strengthens existing strategies across the corporation:
