What are your contributions to the team?

• Work closely in collaboration with our Industrial Design and Engineering teams to design and manufacture various prototypes of cabinets, mechanisms and other aircraft cabin elements.
• Be a stakeholder in research and development activities for the aircraft cabin and participate in the evaluation of materials under development.
• Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes.
• Make models at various scales with a variety of materials and technologies.
• Cut, form and assemble prototypes and models.
• Improve designs through the process of iteration, testing and design review.
• Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a technical diploma in cabinetmaking, composite material, or experience in model making.
• You are recognized for your ingenuity, versatility, agility and flexibility.
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of cabinet making, composite materials or prototype manufacturing.
• You have a proven ability to manufacture and develop prototypes from sketches and renderings.
• You are an individual who possesses creativity that is aligned with Bombardier's philosophy of design and innovation: highly innovative and functional and to exceed our customers' expectations.
• Knowledge of Rhino design or Catia software is an asset.
• You are bilingual in French and in English is an asset.
