What you will do
Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, the Disability Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting a healthy, productive, and inclusive workplace. This position provides expert advice, guidance, and coaching to employees, leaders, and HR partners on all aspects of early intervention, workplace accommodation and disability case management.
As a subject matter expert, the incumbent leverages data analytics, case trends, and stakeholder experience to continually enhance the Bank’s disability management and accommodation programs—driving stronger outcomes, improved employee experience, and operational effectiveness.
The Specialist will also oversee and manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, industry best practices, and the high standard of support expected by our employees.

Your education and experience
The position requires a post-secondary education in human resources management, industrial relations or a related field and 5 years of experience in a client-focused role; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues.
