What You Will Do
You will join the Corporate Payments, Receivables and Travel team and help deliver the financial operations that keep the Bank running smoothly. In this role, you will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, corporate payments and expense management activities while helping improve the processes, controls and systems behind them. You will be a trusted point of contact for employees, managers, suppliers and clients, using your experience to resolve issues, analyze information and support practical improvements across the function.

In this role, you will:

  • support day-to-day activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, corporate payments and expense management.
  • process, validate and monitor financial transactions to ensure they are accurate, timely and aligned with policies, controls and service standards.
  • investigate discrepancies, outstanding items, reconciliation issues and payment exceptions, and recommend practical solutions.
  • maintain reliable records and documentation for reporting, audit, compliance and operational needs.

You will also:

  • act as a subject matter expert for financial operations programs, processes and controls.
  • interpret financial policies, procedures, taxation requirements and operational frameworks to support sound decisions and consistent service.
  • provide clear guidance to employees, managers, suppliers, clients and partners on corporate payments and receivables processes and requirements.
  • identify risks, control gaps, recurring issues and opportunities to strengthen how work gets done.

What You Need to Succeed
You enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy and can balance operational delivery with problem solving and continuous improvement. You are organized, detail-oriented and service-focused, with the confidence to work across programs, systems and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring:

  • experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, corporate payments or related financial operations.
  • a strong understanding of financial controls, policy interpretation, compliance requirements and operational documentation.
  • experience with reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting and operational analysis.
  • the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and recommend practical, service-oriented solutions.
  • clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting internal and external clients.
  • experience with process improvements, system enhancements or operational change initiatives, along with strong SAP or financial systems knowledge and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with SAP, Emburse Enterprise, PSP Connect, ServiceNow or similar financial and workflow systems.

Your Education and Experience
You have a college diploma or university degree in a relevant discipline such as accounting, finance, bookkeeping, business administration, commerce or a related field, combined with a minimum of three years of recent and relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Language requirement

 The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French.  The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional).  If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a portion of each month as part of the Bank’s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of 12 days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $73,511 to $86,484 (job grade 14)
  • The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at  5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
