Are you a strategic recruitment leader with a passion for building high-performing executive teams? Aviva Canada is seeking a Senior Executive Talent Acquisition Partner to lead and deliver best-in-class hiring strategies for senior leadership roles across the organization. This role is pivotal in shaping our executive talent at Aviva Canada.  

What You’ll Do 

Strategic Executive Engagement 

  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders and market executives. 

  • Anticipate future talent needs and proactively identify leadership opportunities. 

  • Influence succession planning and leadership development strategies. 

  • Build credibility and trust to gain deep insight into business priorities. 

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience 

  • Represent Aviva to executive talent in the market by championing a respectful, transparent, and values-driven candidate experience. 

  • Elevate Aviva’s reputation as a destination for top-tier leadership. 

Innovative Sourcing Strategy 

  • Design and execute creative, resourceful sourcing plans. 

  • Tap into underrepresented talent pools and executive networks. 

  • Leverage advanced recruitment technologies to drive innovation. 

Market Intelligence & Succession Planning 

  • Provide real-time insights on executive talent trends and competitor benchmarks. 

  • Support leadership pipeline health and succession planning. 

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify internal and external successors. 

Executive Search Partnerships 

  • Manage relationships with retained search firms, ensuring alignment with Aviva’s governance, quality, and DEI standards. 

  • Negotiate contracts and monitor performance for seamless collaboration. 

Data-Driven Performance 

  • Monitor key hiring metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, diversity representation, candidate satisfaction). 
  • Use analytics to optimize recruitment processes and report outcomes to leadership. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Proven experience, reputation and passion for executive-level recruitment, ideally within financial services. 

  • Enjoys working with and mentoring team members.   

  • Strong business acumen and experience influencing stakeholders at the highest levels in corporate settings.   

  • Expertise in inclusive hiring practices and workforce planning. 

  • Familiarity with Workday and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Insights. 

  • Bilingual (English/French) capabilities are an asset.
