As a member of the Operations Digital Product team at Air Canada, you will drive the development and delivery of digital products that transform targeted areas of airport operations. Your work will focus on biometrics, airport automation, lobby technology, and station operations center support tools—delivering innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency, employee effectiveness, and customer experience.

As the Manager, Airport Operations Digital Products, you will independently manage the product lifecycle for a suite of critical operational tools. You will collaborate closely with airport operations leaders, IT, UX/UI, and data analytics teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver impactful digital solutions. You will integrate emerging technologies—such as IoT, automation, and Artificial Intelligence—where appropriate to streamline operational processes and improve outcomes within your domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage digital product strategies and roadmaps for biometrics, airport automation, lobby technologies, and station operations center tools.
  • Translate operational challenges into actionable business requirements and product features through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies, including automation, AI, and IoT, to improve product effectiveness and operational outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze product-specific KPIs—such as OTP, operational intelligence, productivity, and user satisfaction—to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure successful rollout of digital products through testing, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness planning.
  • Communicate product vision, progress, and key outcomes to airport operations leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other product managers across the Operations Digital Product team to ensure alignment and integration across the broader digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Proven experience in digital product management within aviation, transportation, or operational sectors.

  • Strong understanding of biometrics, airport automation technologies, and operations center support environments.

  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, user-centric design, and iterative product development practices.

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies (automation, AI, IoT) and their application within operational environments.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for leveraging digital innovation to drive measurable improvements in operational performance and streamline product development.

  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
