Manulifeās Individual Insurance team currently has an opportunity for a Bilingual New Business Individual
We are looking for a dynamic individual who understandsĀ our customer-focused culture.Ā Ā
Initially: Data entry of individual insurance applications for all new business applications, as well as manual processing of paperwork in the office.
Progress to:Ā Issuing and reissuing policy contracts including in good order review, creating and mailing client and doctor letters, and ordering supporting documents for Underwriting
Training: This role has a phased training approach. Candidates will be trained on each new function after they have met the necessary targets from the previously learned skills.
Responsibilities
- Input Life and Critical Illness applications
- Issue Life and Critical Illness contracts
- Print, bind and assemble all insurance contracts
- Self-check each file for accuracy before submitting to Quality Checker
- Review and index all documentation received from advisors and clients
- Meet the teamās benchmark accuracy and productivity standards at 98% or above
- Able to manage and use the teamās online reference tool, job aides and excel trackers
- Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, self-initiative in a fast-paced production environment
- Self-motivated problem solver and dedicated to supporting the business needs, i.e. overtime requirement
- Conduct research on a daily basis to identify potential gaps and issues that would affect the market position of our clients
- Manage customerās needs and service expectations

What we are looking for
- Bilingual (French & English) is required – The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
- Proven keyboarding skills with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills and ability to correspond concisely with internal teams
- Ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of work
- Identify and action follow-up questions to ensure all information is obtained
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be a positive, team player who understands their impact on the Customer Service Experience
- Must be adaptable and able to deal with ongoing change management
- Ability to research, identify a problem, and provide input to finding a solution
- Knowledge of individual life insurance terminology and products is an asset

Salary range is expected to be between
$39,525.00 CAD – $65,875.00 CADĀ
